Club Classic

Club Classic is Te Whanganui-a-tara’s favourite grassroots sports club plus indie-funk band hybrid.
The boys’ recent singles ‘Richie Whiskey’ and ‘Come Over’ were both well received, prompting headline shows at famous local venues and festivals including Meow, Wellington Lantern Festival and the final ever show at Third Eye Bar.

Club Classic is Joe Raea on lead vocals, Eddie Kerr on guitar, Troy Scott on keyboard, Cameron Elliot on bass, and Liam Kilmister on drums. They’ve forged a love of music with the goal of getting people up on their feet. What started as a covers project has quickly turned into a fully-fledged musical adventure with thousands of streams to date, loyal fans both locally and online, and packed out venues across the Wellington region.
