Women in Massey Music is a new series from Something Something focused on creating space for women and queer voices within the wider Wellington music scene.

This project is about documenting real experiences—how people move through the scene, how they see themselves within it, and what they think needs to change. Rather than speaking about people, this series is about handing the mic over and letting artists speak for themselves.

Each feature is built from a short set of questions, with responses shared both visually on our Social Media pages and in full here. The aim is simple: to highlight perspectives that aren’t always centred, and to contribute to a more open and representative music community.
