JACK SYLVA
Sylva’s sound can be described as a mindfuck between dirty blues and singer-songwriter. Somewhere behind the screaming vocals are soft, poetic lyrics and somewhere beneath the mess and clang of a highly distorted guitar are melodic whispering riffs tracing back to the New Zealand rock he grew up listening. All this connected through the clouds of cigarette smoke and drops of whiskey that coat his voice.
