ROSE LUBRANSKY

Rose Lubransky is an indie/bedroom pop artist from Wellington, New Zealand. She is influenced by Clairo, Harry Styles, Fleetwood Mac and MAY-A. Although her sound is still quite unique with it’s pop punk, indie rock influences. She has been making music and playing shows for around 7 years. Her music is very reminiscent and sometimes political.

She often collaborates with BushJungle, a multi-genre producer from Wellington, New Zealand. BushJungle, otherwise known as Sachin Maru, has been producing and creating music for around 3 years, collaborating with lots of other artists. Together they make music that varies from happy and bouncy to cruisy and melancholy. Their music is influenced by many genres which allows them to pull in flavours you often don’t expect. They have made big waves in the underground music scene, with Rose making it onto the iTunes top 100 in New Zealand.

They are currently releasing their new single ‘Head Over Heels’ which is an ecstatic tune about falling in love. It is playful, enticing, joyful and leaves you feeling lovestruck as it paints a picture of the beginnings of cliche love. It’s a glittery bop that makes you want to get on your feet and dance, influenced by the 80s but drawing in contemporary elements. This song leaves you wanting more which Rose and BushJungle are working on.
